If you really want to experience the
northwoods, do it from the top of a horse! At Outback Trail
Rides we can offer you rides through forests and meadows - all in the beautiful Pillsbury
State Forest area. Pillsbury Forest is the oldest State Forest in
Minnesota, with over 13,000 acres of pristine, non-motorized
trails. Located
just minutes from major resorts in the Brainerd Lakes Area
of Minnesota, a trail ride at Outback is easy to fit into
your vacation plans. Our experienced, friendly and
knowledgeable staff will guide all rides. We have over 50
horses at our ranch, mostly American Quarter Horses and
cater specifically to Western Pleasure trail riding. Our
horses are well cared for and able to take out a variety of
rides.
 Boarding: In addition to trail rides, Outback offers
overnight boarding and monthly boarding. Our indoor 68'x108' riding barn is great
for fine tuning your riding skills. If you are in need of
boarding your horse, we have a 36'x90' stall barn for indoor
boarding and also pasture boarding. Traveling with your horse? Overnight boarding is
available, with a reservation.
Camp in comfort knowing your horse is safe and secure at
